This blog spot or hubpage is very interesting. It has informative and fun blogs. This blog has a variety of information on it, and is written really well. I would write the author and ask her a few question if I had any and I think she would write something about it. She seems to find her information in reliable places. All of her information matches up with the facts. I was impressed by this hubpage/site.

Well the web can be a good an bad source of communication. It is a fast and easier to communicate with others around the world. However, technology now a days is very unreliable. But as for communication it is very affective and a strong source of communication.

Well after taking this class and learning so much about media and the ways it is produced. I have really come to the conclusion that I really enjoy working in and with the media. You can be in charge of getting information out there fast and effectively and truthfully. That is inspiring to me.

Thanks Cooke for all your help this semester. We will really miss you next year. Keep in touch on facebook. :D

Of course the Internet it creating less privacy for anyone online. There are hackers and history on all computers. When you enter your personal information online it can be easier to access by others. Its a very scary thought. There is no guarantee that your information will stay private.

Well, my video will consist of some Lake Charles night life. I will get my camera and film hot spots in LC at night. The downtown area will be the main event. I will add some nice music to it and make it nice to look at and listen to. I will make LC look a little more eventful than it really is. :D

This pod is really interesting. It is about music and myspace two things that I am very interested in. It is really creative and the divas in it are really interesting people. There accents are very cool to listen to. Wasn't to bad to watch. I enjoyed it. I liked the way they edited it and they way you heard them talking but saw them doing there everyday activities ans what not. It was creative and kept my attention.

Is digitized expression on traditional notions of copyright outmoded and irrelevant?
Sure with myspace and youtube and artists being able to increase revenue do to the technology the copyright tradition is outmoded. People will make illegal copies anyways...why not allow the artist to create revenue from it. They should change copyright laws and make it were the artist will gain revenue from any reproduction of their work. I am not sure how this is possible but I think it would be a good idea.

Negativity in the Media.

Blogs are a source were users can write what they want about anything, and anyone can comment on it. It affects our media by putting more opinions out there than news. They are unreliable. However, as I stated in my earlier blog they are a good way of getting messages out there sooner.

My podcast will be a star spot for the Lake Charles City Hub Site I have created. It will consist of interviews with local talents and up coming events info. The first episode will be an interview with the brain behind Lake Charles City Hub myspace and site that will be up soon, Catherine Cook. It will have fun music, be very informative, creative, and interesting.

Now with all the technology and YouTube and camera phones as media, news is immediately released. There is also so many ways to edit the footage. Media is becoming so easily accsesed so now a days its hard to tell what is news and what is gossip. However the new technology is useful for getting the message out sooner.

Ok...so i didn't find mine on the iTunes but I found it on the site I enjoyed looking at.
I liked it. It had music on it at the begging and I enjoyed listening to the the the pod casts. They are not too boring. Its about writers and it has Miss. B on it. So I think the topics are interesting and it was creatively made.

Not all of the departments have sites. It is difficult to find information on this site. They rely too much on PDF's for posting their information in stead of some other creative way of disseminating information. It is difficult to navigate.

GOOD SITE

Captures you eye. Has copious amounts of infrmation and is easyily navigated. It is very clever and has a large collaboration of things on the site. It also uses other forms of desseminatingin information than PDF's. I beleive this site is making some money.

I see my website as a informative site. One that is fun and catches the eye. The information on my site will be about entertainment in Lake Charles. I plan to have information about upcoming events, shows, art openings, etc... I podcast will be interviews with local artists or the artists for the event. My video will be of Lake Charles at night I will make it look very intriguing. The links page will link to the myspace created for this site. It will have a calender for all upcoming events in the LC area. I plan to make the site very informative and fun!!

What emerging media means to me.

Seeing as emerging media consists of so many genres of media, I truly can't see my life with out it. My generation and the generation before and the one to follow mine, all communicate through the internet. Think about it, instant messaging, myspace, blogs, facebook, dating sites, and so many more have become the main sources of communication. Through the internet marketers target their main comsumers, and costumers. We use the internet for entertainment and sharing files like limewire, itunes, etc. I honestly don't even know if some people know how to find out information or any type of research but through the internet. They google it. Google it is being put in the dictionary. Without emerging media I, along with many others would be lost.
